SULSA PhD Studentships

SULSA aims to strengthen Scotland’s global position in the life sciences, in part by training a new generation of multidisciplinary researchers. SULSA has selected more than 50 outstanding applicants for collaborative PhD studentships across 3 broad themes: Cell Biology, Systems Biology and Translational Biology. All students will be integrated into the SULSA research network through cross-institutional research collaborations, workshops, conferences, and access to cutting-edge facilities.

In 2010 the Scottish Funding Council awarded SULSA funding for an additional 20 PhD studentships by the Scottish Funding Council. These students will be trained in collaboration with industry. For more information about SULSA Industry PhD Studentships for 2010 and 2011 click here.
