SULSA Researcher wins EMBO Young Investigator Award.

Dr Adele Marston, a SULSA appointment in Cell Biology at the University of Edinburgh was recently accepted into the the European Molecular Biology Organization (EMBO) Young Investigator Programme.

Selected on the high standards of their research, the programme identifies Europe’s most promising and creative young life scientists, and supports successful applicants with academic, practical and financial help from EMBO. The programme offers a level of recognition and distinction that is valuable to younger researchers who are establishing and consolidating their independent research group.

Dr Marston was one of only 17 successful applicants from 123 applications from across Europe this year, and joins the international network of 230 other scientists, including SULSA Professor in Cell Biology Tibor Harkany (University of Aberdeen).
