Edinburgh International Science Festival Launches
The Edinburgh International Science Festival has launched its programme for 2012. This year, the festival will run 30 March - 15 April.
Founded in 1989, the festival is an educational charity that encourages people of all ages and backgrounds to discover the wonder of the world around them. The festival was the world’s first celebration of science and technology, is still one of Europe’s largest.
The two-week event places emphasis on giving our audiences amazing experiences that are inspiring and confidence-building, but we are also committed to communicating the excitement and benefits of science in innovative and engaging ways throughout the year, and to bringing science to life with Generation Science, our schools touring programme.
